At Dan’s Carpet Trends, your satisfaction is our priority. We stand behind every product we sell and want you to feel confident in every purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, we are here to help.

30-Day Return Window

We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date. To qualify for a return, the item must meet the following conditions:

  • The product is in its original, unused condition
  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and components are included
  • The item is free from damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or neglect
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined or subject to a partial refund at our discretion.

How to Initiate a Return

Starting a return with us is simple. Please contact our customer support team within 30 days of receiving your order:

Once your return request is reviewed and approved, you will receive a return authorization confirmation along with a downloadable return shipping label. Simply download the label, print it at home or at any local print shop, attach it securely to your package, and drop it off at the designated carrier location. Please do not ship any item back without first receiving your return authorization and label from our team.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product
  • If your order qualified for free shipping and is returned, the actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from your refund
  • Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser and payment method

Restocking Fee

We don’t charge any restocking Fees.

Exchanges

We gladly accept exchanges within the 30-day return window. If you received the wrong item, need a different model, or simply want to swap your purchase for something better suited to your needs, we will do our best to make it right.

To request an exchange, contact us with your order details and the reason for the exchange. Once approved, you will receive a downloadable return label to send back your original item. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, we will process your replacement and ship it out promptly. If there is a price difference between items, the balance will either be charged or refunded accordingly.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We may request photos of the damage or defect to process your claim quickly. Eligible claims will be resolved through a full refund, replacement, or exchange at no additional cost to you. A pre-paid return label will be provided for download and print so you can send the item back at no expense to you.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Items returned after the 30-day return window
  • Products that have been used, assembled, or installed
  • Opened cleaning solution bottles, chemicals, or consumable accessories
  • Items marked as final sale or non-returnable at the time of purchase
  • Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications

Return Shipping

For standard returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. However, if your return is the result of a defective product or an error on our part, a pre-paid return label will be emailed to you for free download and printing — no out-of-pocket shipping cost required.

We strongly recommend using the provided label and carrier to ensure your return is tracked and insured. Dan’s Carpet Trends is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit when a non-approved shipping method is used.
